Digital Enablement Program: Tamkeen

Tamkeen is a semi-governmental organization in Bahrain that provides support to the private sector and individuals to empower them for economic development. Established in 2006, its vision is to make the private sector the key driver of Bahrain's economic growth and to ensure Bahrainis are the preferred choice for employment.

Digital Enablement Program is designed to empower Virtual, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (VmSMEs) in Bahrain by supporting their digital transformation journey and facilitating the adoption of digital tools that enhance productivity, operational efficiency, market reach, and overall competitiveness. 

Who’s eligible?

• Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license  

• Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA    

• Enterprise must be a Virtual, Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise (VmSME)  

• Additional Eligibility Criteria might be applicable in alignment with the selected type of solution/tool selected .

Support Offered:

• Track 1: Tamkeen’s partnered digital solution providers Digital Enablement Program

  
  

Digital Tools with defined partners, where Tamkeen will support the cost of the access to the tool up to the approved support time

• Track 2: Integration of client’s own digital solution

  
  

Tamkeen will support up to 60% of the total amount (up to the approved cap amount), for the products and services within the below support categories: 

• Technology Software  

• Technology Services 

• Technology Hardware   

• Advisory Services
